J. Matheson Gifts, Kitchen & Gourmet in Everett offers cooking classes in its state-of-the-art cooking school. Classes range from beginning cooking to expert level instruction and are presented by both local chefs and chefs from well-known Four Star restaurants.
Participants receive a 15% discount on
regularly-priced merchandise (excluding electrics and cooking classes) the day of the class.

Refund Policy for Cooking Classes:
Cancellation of a registration more than 72 hours in advance of a class entitles you to a full refund. Or you may receive credit toward attending a future class…date selected at the time of your class cancellation. Another option is to send someone in your place (please notify J. Matheson Kitchen & Gourmet if someone is taking your place in the class.) There are no refunds or transfers less than 72 hours notice.

Her first cookbook, Eating Korean: From Barbecue to Kimchi, Recipes from my Home was chosen as one of the "Best of the Best" by Food & Wine Magazine. A James Beard Award nominee, she has written about food for numerous newspapers and magazines including the Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, Food & Wine, Eating Well, and Korean Culture. We are honored to have her teach a class for us and she will be signing her newest cookbook, Quick and Easy Korean Cooking, which features more than 70 everyday recipes.
